A Simple Radish Appetizer

Whenever I think radishes I think Spring is here!

Slices of baguette
Softened butter
Worchestershire & Tabasco, you can substitute some anchovies if you like them.
Sea salt & freshly ground black pepper
New radishes such as French breakfast, sliced  – save the small young leaves & add to a salad
Snipped chives

 

Combine butter with  2 or 3 drops of Worchestershire sauce, Tabasco, or mashed anchovy if you must, salt & pepper, taste to see if you need to add more of the Worchestershire sauce of Tabasco. Spread on slices of baguette and top with slices of radish & some chopped chives.
